The webinar will provide an overview of how to use the website tool to build transportation requirement reference sheets to facilitate the preparation of shipments of lead, lithium, NiCd, and other types of batteries.

The topics we will cover during the webinar are:

  • An update on the content of the BatteriesTransport.org website (Applicable batteries transport legislation in the US & Canada) – followed by a Q&A session.
  • BatteriesTransport.org:  a “1-stop shop” on how to transport battery cells, batteries and equipment containing batteries – New BatteriesTransport.org ebooks available– followed by a Q&A session.

BatteriesTransport is a joint industry initiative with the goal of informing professionals and end users about the legal requirements applicable to the transport of battery cells, batteries and equipment containing batteries. During the webinar on the updated website content on applicable transport legislation in the US and Canada, we would like to take the opportunity to present the new ebooks available on the www.batteriestransport.org platform.

The project is supported by a gloabl coalition of trade associations, including BCI, EGMFMDTCOPEI, RECHARGEEUROBATEPBAPRBAEBRAACEA and LEVA-EU. The site was launched in 2020 with a focus on European regulations, and is now expanding to address global shipping requirements.

After registering, you will receive all the relevant information for attending the webinar.

There's a lot of room for growth in ... lead battery chemistry ... it's something that would really make it even more competitive for things like stationary storage.
