BCIS-04B is intended to provide generally accepted performance and durability tests that can be used when evaluating lead-acid batteries for starting, lighting and ignition service in heavy duty applications. Heavy duty applications are defined as, but not limited to, over-the-road tractor trailer, off-road commercial & earth moving, recreational bus/truck and off-road vehicles, and commercial class vehicles_6 (GVWR 19,501 – 26,000 lbs.).
