Despite the very real technological and political challenges, a clean energy future is in our reach, and America is ready to lead the way. Policymaker Symposium

The Policymakers Symposium is a robust program featuring expert panel discussions and keynote remarks on the latest in climate and energy policy, highlighting leaders in their fields. Attendees will hear directly from top decisionmakers in clean energy, including policymakers and top influencers in clean energy investment, innovation, and policy. Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, Stryten Energy

Jeremy Furr is Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing for Stryten Energy, a provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets. He leads the Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Logistics teams responsible for the purchasing of materials and chemicals used in the company’s manufacturing plants.

Mr. Furr has more than 22 years’ experience in the energy industry in various leadership roles. His experience includes roles at General Electric (in the Gas Power, Power Services, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy groups), as well as quality and operations management for GE’s nuclear energy business. Mr. Furr is a member of the Association of Battery Recyclers (ABR) and has been with Stryten Energy for over 5 years.

NCEW Virtual Policymaker Symposium: Critical Minerals and Supply Chain Security

Jeremy Furr, representing Stryten Energy, has been selected as a featured speaker on this year’s NCEW Virtual Policymaker Symposium panel, Critical Minerals and Supply Chain Security: A global clean energy transition utilizing existing technologies like EVs and renewable electricity is an extraordinarily minerals intensive proposition. This panel will explore major issues facing domestic sourcing, inventing substitutes, recycling and reprocessing. These will include national security and the role of innovation in addressing our challenges with critical minerals and resources.

Each year, National Clean Energy Week posts a growing list of State Proclamation by each participating state on their website. The list will be updated throughout NCEW as individual states provide their continued commitment to NCEW 2023. In 2022, NCEW had record breaking engagement by elected officials that spanned the country and political spectrum.
