During the holiday season, Stryten Energy and the Clarios Foundation demonstrated remarkable commitment to supporting communities both locally and internationally through thoughtful charitable initiatives.
Supporting Military Families and Local Communities
At Stryten Energy, employees embraced the spirit of giving by participating in two meaningful charitable programs. Through Operation Gratitude, headquarters staff members created 200 “Battalion Buddy” bears, each carefully hand-filled and tagged with a heartwarming message to comfort children of deployed service members. These cuddly companions carry a touching note: “I’m your Battalion Buddy, and I’m here to keep you company while your Mom or Dad is away.”
The company’s dedication didn’t stop there. Employees assembled an impressive 500 care packages destined for deployed troops, showing deep appreciation for military personnel’s sacrifices. Meanwhile, Stryten’s Kansas City, Missouri team focused on local needs, collecting food items to create 32 holiday meal kits for Harvesters Community Food Network. These meal kits provided essential support to families during the holiday season, helping to ensure no local family goes without a festive meal.

Global Children’s Health: A Broader Mission
On a global scale, the Clarios Foundation made a significant impact through its partnership with UNICEF. Announcing a $10 million match contribution on World Children’s Day, the foundation expanded support for the Healthy Environments for Healthy Children program. This ambitious initiative aims to protect 171 million children under five from environmental hazards across 24 low- and middle-income countries.
The collaborative effort has already achieved remarkable milestones. To date, the partnership has contributed over $36 million, enabling critical interventions such as training more than 10,000 health workers, engaging nearly 3,000 youth, and helping seven countries integrate children’s environmental health into national policies.
This program addresses a crucial global challenge: nearly half the world’s children live in countries exposed to significant environmental risks, including polluted air, soil, and water. By focusing on countries like Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Vietnam, the Clarios Foundation and UNICEF are making tangible strides in protecting vulnerable children’s health and future.
