Roger Miksad Promoted to President and Executive Director
CHICAGO – April 21, 2023 – As Battery Council International (BCI) prepares to commemorate its 100th anniversary in 2024, the organization has announced new executive leadership appointments. BCI, the premier trade association for battery manufacturers and recyclers in North America, is committed to driving innovation and promoting sustainablepractices in the industry.
Effective today, Roger Miksad, previously the Executive Vice President and General Counsel, has been promoted by the BCI Board to the position of President and Executive Director. Chris Pruitt, President of the BCI Board from 2021-2023, has been elected by the BCI membership to the new role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, becoming the first person to hold this position in BCI’s history.
In Miksad’s new role, he will serve as an ex-officio member of the Board, bringing his extensive experience and expertise to bear on the organization’s strategic direction and decision-making processes. Miksad will continue to serve as General Counsel.
