“An Honor of a Lifetime” Chris Pruitt on His Battery Industry Career

As Chris Pruitt concludes his tenure on the BCI Board of Directors, he sat down with BCI President & Executive Director Roger Miksad in Austin, Texas, for a reflective conversation about his journey in the battery industry. From his deep roots with the East Penn Manufacturing family to his strategic leadership that helped shape BCI’s growth and transformation, Chris shares the experiences that defined his career and the relationships that made it meaningful.

“Being part of the East Penn family has just been the honor of a lifetime,” Chris reflects. “I got 20 MBAs. Every year going to lunch with [Dan Breidegam, Dan Langdon, Sally Miksiewicz, and Bob Flicker] really helped me learn the business and understand the business.”
