Important Reminders for 127th Convention + Power Mart Expo Attendees
BCI looks forward to welcoming you to Savannah. To help maximize your conference experience, please thoroughly review the information below.
Please note that all sessions, coffee breaks and lunches take place at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center unless otherwise noted.
Getting to the Hotel and Convention Center
Travel distance from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) to the convention host hotel is approximately 20 minutes, about a $25.00 cab ride. If you wish to take alternative transportation, please view the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf & Resort transportation options.
The free Belles Ferry system includes multiple modern, passenger only ferryboats.The ferries take passengers from the Convention Center landing to River Street and back, seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to midnight.
Badge Pick-Up at Registration
Attendees must wear a badge to gain access to all BCI sessions and events. Registration is located in the Chatham Ballroom Foyer of the Convention Center, and hours throughout the conference are as follows:
- Saturday, May 2: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 3: 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, May 4: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 5: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Download the BCI mobile app to maximize your conference experience! To get started:
1. Visit your app store, and search "Battery Council" to download the free application. Or, access the mobile website from your BlackBerry or Windows phone.
2. Tap "BCI Events" to enter the 127th Convention + Power Mart Expo app.
3. Login using the following credentials:

4. Tap "Networking" to review your profile. This step is required to participate in networking within the app. Tap "Save" in the upper-right corner.
5. Start browsing the schedule, attendee list, speakers, and exhibitors. Speaker presentations will also be posted as they become available.

If you registered for the BCI Golf Tournament, it will take place at The Club at Savannah Harbor on Sunday, May 3 at 11:30 a.m. Vans will be available for guests from the Westin to the Club. Please join us after the Gold Tournament for the Awards Reception. Pre-registration is required.

Celebrate the beginning of the convention with whiskey samplings, a cigar bar and live music on Sunday, May 3 at 6:00 p.m - 7:30 p.m. The Reception will take place at the Esplanade of the Convention Center and is open to BCI manufacturing, marketing, and associate members and their registered guests as well as non-member and sponsoring suppliers who have contributed collectively to make this event possible.
Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5 breakfast will be served in the Harbor Ballroom on the second floor of the Westin. There will be a full buffet at a cost of $28.40 inclusive of sales tax. This cost is only able to be charged to your room. Breakfast will be served from 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. The main restaurant will also be open during this time.
Visit the Connections Center, a dedicated area furnished with tables and chairs, so you can conduct meetings and network with fellow attendees at your leisure. Conveniently located throughout the Convention Center, the Connections Center helps you build better business in a comfortable environment.
Enjoy a traditional low country boil and cocktails while networking with colleagues on the Harbor Lawn of the Westin during this final networking event of the Convention on Tuesday, May 5 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
The dress code for the conference is business casual or smart casual during all receptions and sessions; jackets and ties are not required. Conference rooms can be chilly, so remember to bring a sweater or jacket to the Convention Center.
May weather in Savannah tends to hover between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Ladies, be sure to bring flat shoes, as Savannah has several cobblestone streets and walkways.
